The Emmerdale star was ridiculed as the “most p****d off” competitor on Mastermind.

Picture this – you make it all the way to sitting in the iconic Mastermind chair and leave the game having scored just 10 points. Sadly that was the reality for Emmerdale’s Danny Miller this week, and he wasn’t best pleased with his performance!

The much-loved actor, 34, has played Aaron Dingle in the ITV soap intermittently since 2008 and has been at the centre of multiple huge storylines over the years.

He has amazed viewers with his unvarnished and honest performances, from his tumultuous relationship with Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley), which ignited a #Robron fan frenzy on social media, to an examination of his background with an abusive father.

However, before answering the challenging questions from quizmaster Clive Myrie on Monday’s episode of the BBC show, he ought to have brushing up on both his general knowledge and his area of expertise.

Since it began airing in 1972, we have witnessed several mistakes made by competitors who ventured to compete against three other players.

Does anyone recall the time a gamer mistook protester Greta Thunberg for Sharon?

Presenter Josie d’Arby, forecaster Elizabeth Rizzini, and Qasa Alom of the BBC Asian Network all put up a fierce fight against Danny, who finished last.

He wasn’t a happy bunny either.

Every celebrity seems to donate money for a worthy charity, and Danny selected Once Upon a Smile, which provides grief assistance. He has been involved with the organization for a long time and hosts an annual event to show his support.

He had ninety seconds to respond to questions on his specialty, dramatist and author Julia Donaldson, well known for writing the children’s classic The Gruffalo.

He had two minutes to add to the total in the general knowledge round after earning a quite respectable seven points, but he was only able to get three of them right.

Fans on social media saw that Clive sagged back in his chair and appeared to be in agony from his efforts as he declared Elizabeth the winner.

“Danny Miiller is an excellent athlete.” No. #celebritymastermind #dannymiller One viewer made a joke, while another added: “The Emmerdale guy.” pouting. Horrible.

“What a jerk that Danny Miller guy was!” One person laughed.

“Danny doesn’t love #CelebrityMastermind.” remarked another, as if echoing the character Lauren from Catherine Tate’s comedy program, who was well-known for her catchphrase, “Am I bothered?”

Aaron is going to have a busy few weeks in Emmerdale Village since he is one of the suspects in the murder of Anthony Fox (Nicholas Day), a pedophile.

After it is revealed that Anthony mistreated his daughter Ruby (Beth Cordingly) while she was a teenager, he will be shot dead in future episodes.

“From his experience, he recognizes the difference between scared looks, and that’s exactly what he sees in Ruby—is himself.” Danny informed us.

Naturally, he is destined for vengeance and is immediately hostile toward Ruby, but he sees an opportunity to square with [his father] Gordon, who, as Aaron puts it, took “the coward’s way out” by murdering himself while incarcerated.

“How he will handle this and bring back so many evil and dark memories that Aaron had suppressed for so many years is pure disgust and dread, in my opinion.”

Is Aaron the murderer?
