With Cain (Jeff Hordley) cheating on his adored wife Moira Dingle (Natale J Robb) after her brain surgery and Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) attempting to kiss Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock), infidelity is rampant in Emmerdale. However, the village of Emmerdale has a new adulterer.
During a passionate time with Joe Tate (Ned Porteous), Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) made the somewhat startling but not quite unexpected action of snoozing him.
Having unintentionally overdosed Kim Tate (Claire King) on ketamine while on a desperate attempt to persuade her to confess to killing Will Taylor (Dean Andrews), she was in a heightened emotional state.
She kissed Joe as he attempted to persuade her that everything was OK now that Kim was alive.
Dawn has been after Joe ever since he returned to the scene. However, it was evident that there was some connection between them because love and hatred are such a thin line.
That was verified by their kiss, but even though they both quickly moved on and vowed it would only happen once, it most definitely won’t. Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) is a poor guy.
It’s possible that Dawn’s marriage was already written. This couple’s situation has not been ideal since Billy has been lying a lot about his involvement in unlawful fights, accruing debt, and refusing to prioritize the family while they were homeless.
Furthermore, he hasn’t been as encouraging to her during her loss as Joe has been. indications that these two are not doing well.
However, Dawn is currently in her self-care phase and prioritizing herself after losing her father. Dawn is unable to accept Kim’s offer to work for Home Farm Estates quickly enough in order to further her career.
However, the kind offer is soured when she finds out that Joe is her new boss since she thinks he is responsible.
Dawn approaches Joe, and their heated conversation is the ideal prelude to an ardent hug and a fumble between the sheets. The shame of that first kiss is a long-forgotten memory when the two cross the boundary.
The two clean up after their impromptu sex escapade as Billy brings Evan home from his hospital visit. For Dawn, the initial jolt of remorse is unbearable.
Later, when confronted with the truth about her actions, Dawn inhales deeply and is ready to give Billy the whole truth.
Does she want a place in Joe’s bed forever, or does she seek forgiveness?
